Silverfish is a Los Angeles alt-rock band made up of longtime friends Grayson (guitar), Declan (bass/drums), twins Luca (bass/drums) and Gaia (vocals/guitar). The four have been playing together since second grade, developing the kind of chemistry that comes from growing up alongside each other and making music without rigid roles.
Their sound pulls from alt-rock, punk and shoegaze, with all four members able to switch instruments and contribute to the creative process. Songs are written and worked out in garages, bedrooms and even through group texts, giving the band a loose, collaborative identity rather than a traditional front-person-and-backing-band structure.
That chemistry began reaching a wider audience when rehearsal clips started gaining traction on TikTok, helping lead to local shows and studio sessions around Los Angeles. Their own material includes tracks such as Change Your Mind, Got Your Nose and Your Wake.
Silverfish has also already played on a much larger stage, performing in front of roughly 10,000 people at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum after a Battle of the Bands appearance.
At the center of Silverfish is still the same thing that started it — four friends making music together. The band is built around trust, creativity and friendship while carving out its own place in Los Angeles’ young independent music scene.
