Adonis Tsilimparis is a Los Angeles-based composer, producer, and music supervisor with more than two decades of experience across film, television, advertising, and music licensing. Born and raised in New York City, he began playing guitar and piano at a young age before performing in bands throughout the New York club scene as a guitarist and singer.
In the mid-1990s, Adonis became a staff writer at Fearless Music, where he wrote and performed commercial music for brands including Burger King, AT&T, Sprite, and Pepsi. That work became a bridge into film and television, where he expanded into scoring, composition, and music supervision.
His credits include music for “Guiding Light,” “All My Children,” “CSI: NY,” “NCIS,” and numerous reality and cable television productions. His work has also extended to independent film, with music supervision and composition credits including “Dementia 13,” “Blood Bound,” “Naked As We Came,” and “Wife Missing.”
Working on both sides of the process has given Adonis a broad perspective on how music functions on screen. As a composer, he creates original music to support story and emotion. As a music supervisor, he searches for and licenses existing songs that can define a scene, shape a character, or strengthen the identity of a project. He has spoken frequently about the satisfaction of helping independent artists place their music in film and television.
After relocating to Los Angeles, Adonis continued working in the film and television music industry and co-founded Cutting Room Music. Throughout his career, persistence, collaboration, and networking have remained central to his approach, both in building his own career and in helping artists connect their work with opportunities in visual media.
