Ezra Prince is a Detroit-born multidisciplinary artist whose work spans music, writing, philosophy, mythology, and visual world-building. Working under the artistic identity “The Queen of Angels / Hydravore,” Ezra approaches each project as part of a larger creative universe rather than as a standalone release.
Ezra began singing at a young age and released their first song in 2023. Since then, the music has developed into a dark, romantic, alternative style shaped by introspection, emotional intensity, and an interest in the cultural and political atmosphere of the present moment. Their catalog has continued to expand through projects including “HYDRA,” “PURE VENOM,” and the 2026 single “CALLING CARD.”
Writing is equally central to Ezra’s work. They have published four books and have described plans to combine them into a larger volume centered on political philosophy and mythology. That literary foundation carries into the music, where recurring ideas of power, identity, transformation, spirituality, and symbolism help shape both the lyrics and the broader visual language of the project.
Ezra’s creative world is built around the idea of the “Queendom,” a mythology shared with supporters known as “Angels.” Rather than treating the audience as separate from the work, Ezra frames that community as part of the same imaginative space — a realm rooted in creation, transformation, and self-definition.
Across music, literature, and performance, Ezra Prince’s work is centered on building a complete artistic identity. The goal is not simply to release songs, but to create a connected body of work where sound, philosophy, imagery, and mythology all reinforce one another.
