Megladon is an Ontario, California-based heavy metal and hard rock band formed in 2013. Built around a stripped-down three-piece format, the band centers its sound on heavy guitar riffs, forceful rhythms, and a direct live energy rooted in Southern California’s independent rock and metal scene.
The current lineup features Henry Garcia on guitar and vocals, Joseph Diaz on bass and vocals, and Cameron McCall on drums. Garcia has been part of the band since its formation, while McCall returned to the group after previously serving as its original drummer.
Megladon’s sound sits between traditional heavy metal and hard rock, favoring weight, groove, and performance over polished excess. The band’s identity is closely tied to live shows, where its music is built to hit with the kind of immediacy and volume that works best in a room full of people.
Over the years, Megladon has remained active in the Southern California circuit and continues to perform at independent venues and community-driven events. In 2025, the band appeared at the second annual “No Artist Left Behind” event in Glendale, joining a lineup of local artists focused on supporting the regional music scene.
More than a decade after forming, Megladon continues operating with the same core approach: heavy songs, a tight three-piece setup, and a commitment to keeping hard rock and metal alive through live performance.
