Tavell JectX

Tavell JectX is a Los Angeles-based artist, vocalist, and producer whose music blends alternative rock, punk, hip hop, electronic influences, and experimental production. Rather than staying inside a single genre, he approaches each release as an opportunity to combine different sounds and build something that feels distinct from conventional rap or rock.

Tavell’s path into music began after years of being around artists from the management side of the industry. In late 2022, a studio session inspired him to begin creating his own music, leading to his first single, “17 Jimmy Johns.” The response encouraged him to take the artist side of his career more seriously.

That shift became more defined with the 2023 project “The X VibeX,” which arrived during a difficult period in his life and became a statement of resilience and reinvention. The project established many of the ideas that still shape his work: high-energy production, alternative influences, genre experimentation, and an identity built around doing things differently.

His influences stretch from punk and alternative rock to hip hop and electronic music, with artists as different as Good Charlotte, CHVRCHES, Future, and other genre-crossing acts feeding into his creative process. That openness has allowed Tavell to move between darker alternative records, melodic material, rap collaborations, and tracks with rock or country elements.

His catalog includes “The X VibeX,” the 2025 album “9LiveXX,” and singles including “Gothic City X,” “FaceleXX,” “Jealous,” “MM,” and “Jectx Baby.” He has also collaborated with artists including Aiman, Yayo Ant, Juno’s Rocket, Tinsies, and Kraig Durco, continuing to expand his sound through projects that cross genre lines.

At the center of Tavell JectX’s work is experimentation. His goal is not to fit comfortably into an existing category, but to keep changing the sound, image, and direction of the project while building a recognizable creative identity of his own.
